Godfrey Glen Trail is a short, easy loop in Crater Lake National Park in Oregon, managed by the National Park Service. The trail is about a mile long, with a total elevation gain of about 60 feet, and it makes a low-effort outing for anyone already in the park. The loop starts at the Godfrey Glen Trailhead and reaches a high point of about 6,067 feet, with the lowest point at about 5,983 feet. The steepest stretch comes at about a third of a mile in, where the grade reaches about 9 percent. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July and August highs around 69°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the low 30s and rain on most days. A fee is charged for the visit. The trail sits about half a mile from Crater Lake National Park Mazama Campground, and Annie Creek Canyon Trail and Power Line Road are each about 0.7 miles away. Castle Crest Trail is about 1.8 miles off.
