Bachy XC is a 3.8-mile out-and-back hike in the Bend/Fort Rock Ranger District of Oregon's Deschutes National Forest, managed by the Forest Service. The trail rises from about 6,323 feet to a high point of 6,332 feet, with a total elevation gain of 671 feet over the course of the round trip. The climb is steepest near the start, with a grade of about 8% at 0.5 miles in. The route is rated moderate, and the trail surface is natural. Bikes and horses are not allowed. The hike falls within the open season, which runs from April 1 to October 31, and the estimated time is about 1.5 hours. The trail is close to several other destinations. The Common Corridor cross-country ski route and the Todd Lake Nordic and Todd Lake Snowshoe Loop are all about 0.3 miles away. Soda Creek campground is about 3 miles off.
