Arrowhead Pass Trail is an easy out-and-back hike in southern Oregon, about 3 miles from the town of Jacksonville. The trail is short, roughly 2 miles round trip, and gains about 800 feet in elevation over the course of the route, with the steepest stretch coming about 0.4 miles from the start. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Sexton Summit show July and August highs around 77°F with only about two wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the low 40s and rain on more than half the days. Several other trails sit close by. Claimjumper Trail is just 0.1 mile away, and Jackson Ridge Hiking Trail, Sofie's Trail and Jackson Creek Nature Trail are all within about half a mile.
