Saddle Creek Campground is a small, walk-in-only site on the rim of Hells Canyon along the Hat Point Road in Oregon, within the Hells Canyon National Recreation Area of the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest. The Forest Service manages the land, and the site has seven tent-only spots for visitors who want a remote campout or a picnic with a view across Hells Canyon to the Seven Devils Mountains in Idaho. The area was heavily burned by wildfires in the past, so shade and mature trees are scarce near the campground. Reservations are not required for a stay here. The Western Rim National Recreation Trail passes just 0.4 miles away, and the Saddle Creek Trail is about 2.5 miles off. The Marks Cabin Trail and Hat Point Trail are both within about 4 miles.
