Hoodview Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Zigzag Ranger District of Mt. Hood National Forest in Oregon. It sits among several other campgrounds in the area, with Gone Creek Campground and Oak Fork Campground both within a short distance. The site has vault toilets, and a fee is charged for stays. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Government Camp weather station show July and August highs around 70°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the mid-30s and rain on most days. Hiking options close by include the Miller and Timothy Lake trails, and paddlers can head to the Oak Grove Fork Clackamas River, about 2 miles away.
