Gone Creek Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Zigzag Ranger District of Mt. Hood National Forest in Oregon. It sits among several other campgrounds, including Hoodview Campground and Oak Fork Campground, and is about 13 miles from Government Camp, the nearest town. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Government Camp show July and August highs around 70°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the mid-30s and rain on most days. Vault toilets are the only amenity at the site, and a fee is charged for stays. The campground is close to several trails, including the Miller and Timothy Lake hikes, and paddlers can reach the Oak Grove Fork Clackamas River about 2 miles away.
