Cedar Creek Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Cottage Grove Ranger District of Oregon's Umpqua National Forest. It sits within the national forest's boundaries, and the nearest town is Cottage Grove. The site is a simple base for overnight stays. Vault toilets are the only listed amenity, and a fee is charged for recreation here. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Oakridge Fish Hatchery weather station show July and August highs around 80 to 81°F with only two or three wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the low 40s and rain on more than half the days. Several trails start close by. Brice Creek Trail #1403 is about 0.1 mile away, and the Crawfish hike is about 0.9 mile off. For more camping, Lund Park Forest Camp is about 1.9 miles away and Rujada Campground about 3.1 miles.
