Woodland Loop is an easy, short loop in Towner's Woods, a county land area in Ohio, about 0.57 miles long and roughly 14 feet of elevation gain for the full trip. The route stays within a small stretch of the woods, with the highest point at about 1,110 feet and the lowest at about 1,082 feet. The climb is gentle, and the steepest part comes near the beginning, with a grade of about 6 percent at the 0.09 mile mark. The route is a loop, so there is no need to turn around, and it is rated easy. For comfortable weather, aim for late spring or early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Ravenna show May highs around 71°F and September highs around 74°F. July is the warmest month, with highs near 85°F. The station sits at nearly the same elevation as the loop, so its figures should match the trail's closely. The closest neighbor is the Ski Trail, about 0.3 miles away. The University Esplanade is about 2.3 miles off. A little farther afield, at about 9.5 miles, are the Cuyahoga Falls Glens climbing area and the Club Moss Trail.
