Paddle Creek Loop is an easy out-and-back hike of about 2.7 miles in the Ironton Ranger District of Wayne National Forest in southern Ohio, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is natural-surfaced and rated easy, with a one-way climb of about 283 feet and a total round-trip gain of about 647 feet. The steepest stretch comes at about 0.5 miles in, with a grade of about 16 percent. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically late spring and early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Waterloo, about 7 miles away, show May highs around 75°F and September highs around 79°F, with October cooling to about 68°F. Horses are allowed on the trail, and it is not accessible. Paddle Creek Horse Camp sits about a mile away, and Hill Loop is about 0.9 miles off.
