Hidden Wall is a climbing area in the Pisgah Ranger District of the National Forests in North Carolina, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with the East Face/Guides Wall left and right sides just 0.1 mile away. The area has 11 routes, mostly traditional, with grades ranging from 5.8 to 5.12b. Among them are Anne Marie at 5.8, Nuclear Free Zone at 5.10, and Hard Tellin' Not Knowing at 5.12b. The Mad Hatter, a 5.11a, is another of the more challenging options. For timing, late spring and early fall are the most comfortable. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Brevard show May highs around 75°F and September highs around 77°F, with October and November seeing the fewest wet days of the year. That station sits about 1,000 feet lower than the wall, so temperatures up high run cooler. Slick Rock Falls and Looking Glass Rock are both within a mile, and the Davidson River offers paddling about 1.4 miles away. Upper Cove Creek Roadside Campsites is about 1.7 miles off for an overnight stay.
