Northside Boulders is a bouldering area in the Pisgah Ranger District of the National Forests in North Carolina, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing areas, with North Side about 0.1 mile away and the Nose Area about 0.2 mile away, so it works well as part of a day spent exploring the surrounding crags. The area holds 18 bouldering routes, ranging from V1-2 to V10. The easiest are Flakey and Warm-up Traverse, and the hardest is The Ramp Sit at V10. Artificial Bridge is a V5, and The Ramp is a V8. The routes are all boulders, so there is no rope climbing to plan for. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Brevard show May highs around 75°F and October highs around 69°F, while July highs reach about 83°F and winter lows drop to the mid-20s. The North Face hike is about half a mile away, and the Sunwall hike is about 0.6 mile away. For an overnight stay, the Upper Cove Creek Roadside Campsites are about 1.2 miles off, and the Davidson River, a paddling route, is about 1.7 miles away.
