Washington Street Trail is a short, easy mountain biking route in Blue Mountain Reservation County Park in New York, on county land. The trail is about 0.34 miles long and rises about 163 feet from its start, with the high point at 385 feet. The climb is front-loaded, with the steepest stretch at about 0.18 miles in, where the grade reaches 13 percent. The total round trip is about 0.68 miles, and the trail is an out-and-back. For comfortable weather, late spring and early fall are the best bets. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Shrub Oak show May highs around 71°F and September highs around 75°F, with July the warmest month at about 84°F. Several other trails and climbing areas sit close by. Rambler, a mountain biking route, and My Favorite Trail and Rocky Glen, both hikes, are each about 0.2 miles away.
