The Labyrinth is a short, easy hike of about 0.37 miles in New York, set about 0.1 miles from the village of Mohonk Lake. The route is a point-to-point walk, starting around 1,273 feet and rising to a high point of about 1,531 feet before descending slightly. The climb totals 263 feet of elevation gain, and the steepest stretch comes early, with a 14% grade at about 0.07 miles. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from the nearby Mohonk Lake weather station show May highs around 71°F and September highs around 73°F, while winter brings frequent snow days. The Labyrinth makes an easy pairing with other trails and climbing areas in the area. Skytop Road is about 0.2 miles away, and Sky Top, a climbing area, is about 0.3 miles off. Lake Shore Road and Stokes Trail are both within about 0.4 miles.
