Quick Lake Trail is a 7.1-mile, moderate hike in New York's Willowemoc Wild Forest, managed by the State Department of Conservation. It is a point-to-point route with a rolling climb from a low of about 2,011 feet to a high of about 2,814 feet, totaling about 1,534 feet of elevation gain. The most comfortable months are July and August, when typical averages from a nearby weather station run in the low 70s for highs and the mid 50s for lows. That station sits at a similar elevation to the trail, so temperatures here should run roughly the same. Bikes are allowed on the trail, but horses are not. The route makes a good base for exploring the surrounding area. Flynn Trail lies about 2.8 miles away, Loggers Loop about 3 miles, and Big Rock Trail about 3.6 miles. Willowemoc Creek, about 5.2 miles off, offers river fishing.
