Cedar Drive is a 3.3-mile point-to-point hike on Mohonk Preserve in New York, managed by a non-governmental organization. The route rises about 200 feet from a starting elevation of roughly 880 feet to a high of about 1,045 feet, with the steepest stretch at about 2.2 miles, where the grade reaches 24%. It is rated easy. The most comfortable months for a visit are late spring through early fall. Typical averages from the nearby Mohonk Lake weather station run from highs around 71°F in May to about 73°F in September, with July peaking near 83°F. That station sits about 200 feet higher than the route, so temperatures on the drive run a little warmer. Bikes and horses are both allowed. Several other trails start within a quarter mile, including Table Rocks Trail, Spring Farm Road and Northwest Trail. Climbers can find The Gunks about 4 miles away.
