Blue Trail is a short, easy hike on county land in New York, set within the Johnsontown Road Property. The route is about 1.4 miles long, with a low point of 548 feet and a high of 672 feet, and it gains about 122 feet in elevation. The trail is a point-to-point route, and the steepest stretch comes early on, with a 12% grade at about 0.07 miles. The trail is easy to fit into a day of exploring the surrounding area. The Orange Trail starts just 0.1 mile away, and the Kakiat Trail and Stony Brook are both within a mile. Climbers can find the C U P area about 1.8 miles off.
