Wu Wall is a climbing area in New Mexico, about 1.4 miles from the town of Mentmore. It sits among a cluster of other climbing spots, with (01) East Corridor Wall just 0.1 mile away and (04) The Balcony and (05) The Open Face Wall each about 0.2 mile off. The Monolith is also within a quarter mile. The area has 14 routes, mostly sport climbs with a few mixed routes. The grades run from 5.5 up to 5.10a/b, with the hardest route listed as Eight.5. The easiest are Six at 5.5 and Five at 5.6. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from the Gallup airport weather station, about 4 miles away, show May highs around 75°F and October highs near 68°F, while July averages climb to about 89°F and August brings the most wet days of the year. For a change from the rock, the Mentmore entrance to the High Desert Trail System is about 1.3 miles away, and the Western loop of the High Desert Trail System is about 1.5 miles off.
