The Tram is a climbing area in the Sandia Ranger District of Cibola National Forest in New Mexico, managed by the Forest Service. It sits within the Albuquerque area, about 0.2 miles from the Albuquerque Area climbing area and the Foothills Trail North and Tram Tower 1 Trail hikes. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 78°F and October highs around 68°F, while July and August bring the most wet days, about 11 each month. Several other climbing areas and trails are close by. Lower La Cueva Domes (History Slabs) is about 0.9 miles away, and Lower La Cueva Canyon and Ted's Head are each about a mile off.
