Three Gun, also known as Tres Pistolas, is a climbing area in New Mexico, about a mile from the town of San Pedro. It is a destination for climbers rather than a route with a set distance or climb, so plan around the area itself rather than a single path. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Sandia Park weather station show May highs around 73°F and October highs around 65°F, while winter highs sit in the low 40s. Several hikes lie within a short drive. South Mesa Trail is about 4.7 miles away, and East Loop, Middle Loop and West Loop are all within about 6 miles.
