The Taos Area climbing area in New Mexico sits about 4.7 miles from the town of Llano Quemado. It is a bouldering-focused spot, with five routes on record, four of them boulders and one a trad climb. The boulders range from V0- to V6, with the hardest of them, Candy Bowl, at V6, and the trad route, White Crystal, at V2. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit.
