Organ Needle is a climbing area in the Organ Mountains Wilderness in southern New Mexico, on land managed by the Bureau of Land Management's Las Cruces District Office. It sits within the wilderness and about half a mile from the Needle and Squaretops and Little Squaretop Massif climbing areas, so it is a natural anchor for a day of climbing in the Organ Mountains. The area has five trad routes, with grades ranging from 5.6 to 5.10. Northwest Ridge is a 5.6, and Searching for Ingraham is the hardest at 5.10. Both are traditional routes, and either offers a way to spend time on the rock in the wilderness. Several other destinations are close by. The Organ Needle Trail and Organ Peak Trail are both within a mile, and the Aguirre Spring Recreation Area and Campground is about 1.5 miles away, giving climbers a place to camp.
