Luna Park is a climbing area in the Magdalena Ranger District of Cibola National Forest in New Mexico, managed by the Forest Service. The surrounding land holds several other named climbing areas, including Upper Park, Full Moon Wall and The Northwest Passage, each about a tenth of a mile away, so the park is part of a cluster of crags rather than a single route. The climbing here is a mix of sport and trad, with four routes on record. The sport routes range from 5.8 to 5.11, and the trad route, 30 Second Burn, is 5.9+. The Northwest Passage and Full Moon Wall lie close by, so climbers can easily move between these areas. Spring and fall are the most comfortable seasons. Typical averages from the Winston, NM weather station, about 17 miles away, run from highs near 71°F in April and October to around 79°F in May and September, while July and August bring the most wet days. Winter highs sit in the low 50s with lows near 20°F.
