Boulder B is a bouldering area in the Sandia Foothills, on city land within the Sandia Ranger District of Cibola National Forest in New Mexico. It sits among a cluster of climbing and hiking spots, with The Ozzy Boulder, South Trail Side Boulders and Fat City, Indian School all within a few tenths of a mile. The climbing here is all bouldering, with five routes spread across the V0- to V4- range. The easiest is Slabzilla at V0-, and the hardest is 4-Skin at V4-, which was first climbed by Tom Ellis. The grades are typical for the area, and the routes sit close together, so it's easy to move from one to another. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 78°F and October highs around 68°F, while July and August bring the most wet days, about 11 each month.
