Tree Spring is a moderate out-and-back hike in the Sandia Ranger District of Cibola National Forest in New Mexico, about 4.3 miles long with a one-way elevation gain of 959 feet. The trail starts at the Tree Springs Trailhead and climbs from a low point of 8,475 feet to a high point of 9,444 feet. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is natural-surfaced. Bikes are allowed, but the route is not accessible. The trail is open from April 1 to November 30. The Challenge Trail, a cross-country ski route, lies just 0.2 miles away, and the Tecolote hike is about half a mile off. Climbers can head to Pino Wall, roughly 1.5 miles away, or to TWA Canyon, about 2.3 miles away.
