The Grand Enchantment Trail is an easy out-and-back hike in New Mexico, about 1.7 miles from the town of Socorro. The route is roughly 2.9 miles long, with a low point of about 4,773 feet and a high of about 4,910 feet, so the climb is gentle, with a total gain of about 132 feet. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go.
