Gabriella Trail is an easy hike in the Espanola Ranger District of the Santa Fe National Forest, about 1.5 miles from Los Alamos, New Mexico. The trail is an out-and-back of about 1.7 miles, with a one-way climb of about 270 feet from a low point of 7,490 feet to a high of 7,772 feet. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Los Alamos show May highs around 70°F and October highs around 63°F, while July and August bring the most wet days, about 13 to 14 a month. The trail sits close to several other outings. Los Alamos Canyon, a climbing area, is about 0.2 miles away, and the Devaney Longmire Trail and Satch Cowan Trail are both within half a mile. The Fitness Trail is about 0.5 miles off.
