Centennial is a hard hike in the Camino Real Ranger District of Carson National Forest in northern New Mexico, about 17.5 miles long with a one-way elevation gain of 2,274 feet. The trail is natural-surfaced and not accessible, and it is managed by the Forest Service. Horses are allowed, but bikes are not. The route is an out-and-back, starting at a low point of about 8,967 feet and reaching a high of about 10,628 feet. The San Leonardo Lakes Trail (30) lies just 0.1 mile away, and Trampas Lake is about a mile off. Trampas Lakes Fishing is roughly 4 miles away, and the Santa Barbara campground is about 4.6 miles away.
