Cdt Juu is a short, easy hike on Bureau of Land Management land in the Las Cruces District Office of New Mexico, about 0.04 miles long and with no elevation gain. It is a flat, nearly level walk between two points that sit at about 4,520 feet, so it works as a quick stop or a way to stretch your legs before or after another outing in the area. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Deming show April highs around 77°F and October highs around 78°F, while June and July average in the mid-90s and bring the most wet days of the year. The hike takes about half an hour, and Gap Road Southeast lies just 0.1 mile away. Lover's Leap Canyon Trail is about 2.3 miles off, and Cdt and Jasper Trail are both within about 3.6 miles.
