Cdt is a hard hike on Bureau of Land Management land in the Las Cruces District Office, about 7 miles from Las Cruces, New Mexico. The route is an out-and-back of roughly 14.7 miles, with a one-way climb of about 2,500 feet from a low point of 4,444 feet to a high of 6,833 feet. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go.
