Arrowhead Trail is a short, easy out-and-back hike in the Sandia Ranger District of Cibola National Forest in New Mexico. The route is about a mile long, with a low point of 6,324 feet and a high of 6,523 feet, and it gains about 186 feet of elevation. It makes a quick addition to a day spent exploring the trails and climbing areas around the district. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 78°F and October highs around 68°F, while July and August bring the most wet days, about 11 each month. The trail sits close to several other routes. Canyon Estates Road and Carlito Springs Loop Trail are each about 0.1 mile away, and the Grand Enchantment Trail is about half a mile off. Climbers can find the Ranger Station Wall about 1.2 miles away.
