Jericho Rd is a hard out-and-back hike in the Pemigewasset Ranger District of New Hampshire's White Mountain National Forest, about 6.4 miles long with a total elevation gain of 1,359 feet. The trail starts at the Jericho Road Trailhead and reaches a high point of 2,439 feet. It is managed by the Forest Service and is open year round. The climb is rolling but has a steep section around 2.6 miles in, where the grade reaches 21 percent. The trail is natural-surfaced and bikes are allowed. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. A nearby weather station records typical July averages of 77°F for highs and 56°F for lows, and temperatures on the trail run cooler than that station's figures. Winters are cold, with January highs typically in the mid-20s. Nearby options include the Reel Brook hike about 1.5 miles away and the Jericho Trail at 2.6 miles. Wildwood Campground and Eliza Brook Shelter are both within about 4 miles.
