Frock Rock is a climbing area in the Bridge Canyon Wilderness, part of Lake Mead National Recreation Area in Nevada, managed by the National Park Service. It sits within designated wilderness, and a fee is charged for visits. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from the nearby Searchlight weather station show April highs around 73°F and October highs around 77°F, while July and August average in the mid-90s. Several other climbing areas are right next door. Christmas Tree Pass is about 0.1 mile away, and Bleu Cheese Boulder and Dali Dome are each about 0.2 mile off. For a hike, Grapevine Canyon Trail is about 2.2 miles away.
