High Roller is a mountain biking route in the Ely Ranger District of Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest in northeastern Nevada. It starts at about 8,250 feet and reaches a high point of about 8,500 feet over a distance of about 2 miles, with a one-way elevation gain of nearly 500 feet. The climb is steepest at about a third of a mile from the start, with a 20% grade, and it begins at a lower point of about 7,980 feet. The route makes a natural pairing with other trails in the area, including South Square Top, which is just 0.1 mile away, and Cave Lake Loop, about 0.8 mile off. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Ruth, which sits well below the route, put July highs around 84°F with lows near 47°F. The station records no snow from June through September. Winter is cold and snowy, with January highs near 38°F and lows around 9°F.
