Tahoe Rim Trail Kingsbury North Trailhead is an easy out-and-back hike in the Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit in Nevada, about half a mile from the Kingsbury North trailhead. The route is short, under a mile long, and the climb is gentle, with a total gain of about 467 feet and a steepest stretch of about 15% at the start. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from the nearby Dagget Pass weather station show July highs around 75°F with lows near 49°F, and only about two wet days a month from June through September. That station sits roughly 600 feet lower than the trailhead, so temperatures up high run cooler.
