Reno Vista Trail is a short, easy hike in Nevada's Carson Ranger District of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, within Rancho San Rafael Regional Park on county land. The trail is about 0.4 miles long, and the round trip adds up to roughly 0.8 miles with a total elevation gain of about 350 feet. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically May and September. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Reno show May highs around 72°F and September highs around 82°F, while July and August average in the low 90s. The trail starts at about 5,094 feet, and the steepest part comes early, with a 13% grade at the first 0.1 mile. The high point is about 5,109 feet. The Rancho Connector Trail lies about 0.2 miles away, and Keystone Canyon and the Keystone Bike Trail are each about 0.3 miles off. Climbers can find Keystone Boulder about 0.3 miles away.
