North Fork Cleve Creek is a hard hike in the Ely Ranger District of Nevada's Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, about 8.8 miles long with a one-way elevation gain of 1,940 feet. The trail starts at a low point of about 7,400 feet and climbs to a high of about 9,000 feet, making it a demanding out-and-back route. The trail is on natural surface and is open to horses. Bikes are not allowed. The Forest Service manages the land, and the open season runs from June 15 to October 30. Kraft Canyon and Kolcheck Basin Trail both lie within a mile of the trail, and Cleve Creek Campground is about 4.8 miles away. For climbing, Square Top is roughly 7 miles off.
