Morrey Peak is an easy out-and-back hike of about 1.2 miles in the Austin-Tonopah Ranger District of Nevada's Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. The trail starts near 9,089 feet and climbs to about 9,518 feet at the summit, a gain of roughly 450 feet. The route is short and gentle, with a natural surface that suits hikers, riders and horses. Bikes and horses are both allowed, so the path works for a range of outings. The trail is open year-round, and it makes an easy addition to a longer day on the surrounding network of routes. The Adt - Nevada - S - Seg 4 and South Sixmile Canyon hikes both lie about 1.3 miles away, Cold Springs is about 2.5 miles off, and Fandangos is around 6 miles away.
