Faye-Luther Canyon is a 3.7-mile out-and-back hike in the Carson Ranger District of Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest in Nevada, managed by the Forest Service. The trail rises about 180 feet from a low point of 4,823 feet to a high of 5,003 feet, and it is rated moderate. The route is natural-surfaced and open to both horses and bikes, so it works for riders and pack animals as well as hikers. The climb is gentle, with the most comfortable stretch coming in late spring and early fall. Typical averages from the nearby Minden weather station show May highs around 73°F and October highs around 71°F, while July and August average about 90°F. The closest neighbors are the Fay Luther/Jobs Peak Ranch Trail and the Lonesome Trail, both about 0.3 miles away. Farther out, the West Fork Carson River offers canoeing about 4.5 miles off, and Hope Valley campground sits about 6.7 miles away.
