Middle Fork Hellroaring is a short mountain biking route in the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness, within the Gardiner Ranger District of Custer Gallatin National Forest in Montana. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail lies about a quarter mile from the Hellroaring area. The climb is brief, covering 0.25 miles with a total gain of 156 feet. The route starts at about 7,270 feet and reaches a high point of 7,440 feet. The steepest stretch comes at about 0.14 miles in, with a grade of 19 percent. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Cooke City show July highs around 74°F with lows near 39°F, while winter highs stay in the 20s.
