Double Arrow Lookout is a mountain biking destination in western Montana, about 2 miles from the town of Seeley Lake. The ride is a climb of roughly 2.4 miles with an elevation gain of 876 feet, from a starting point around 4,058 feet to a high point of about 4,932 feet. The route is steepest near the 1.6-mile mark, where the grade reaches about 15 percent. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical July and August highs reach about 83°F with lows in the low 40s, according to averages from a nearby weather station at Seeley Lake. Winter brings highs in the low 30s and lows below freezing, with more wet days in December and January. The Double Arrow Lo and Tupper Lake sections of the Clearwater Canoe Trail lie within a mile, and the W Bypass from Arch-Eglwatch is just under a mile away. For an overnight stay, River Point Campground Complex is about 1.8 miles from the lookout.
