Weasel Lake is a short, easy hike in the Fortine Ranger District of Montana's Kootenai National Forest, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is about 0.24 miles long and rises just 19 feet from its low point of 5,627 feet to its high point of 5,650 feet. The route is accessible and natural-surfaced, and bikes are allowed. It is a short outing, and the Forest Service lists it as accessible. The trail starts at the Weasel Lake accessible trailhead, TH 557, and is open year-round. Plan on about half an hour for the walk. Nearby, Otter Creek is about 2.4 miles away, and the Foundation/camp mountain biking area is about 2.8 miles off. Tuchuck Campground and Big Therriault Lake Campground are both within about 7 miles.
