Turquoise Lake is a moderate out-and-back hike in Montana's Mission Mountains Wilderness, within the Swan Lake Ranger District of Flathead National Forest. The trail is about 6 miles long, with a one-way elevation gain of 949 feet, taking you from a low point of about 5,900 feet to a high of about 6,850 feet at the lake. The route is a natural-surface trail, not accessible, and bikes are not allowed. It is managed by the Forest Service and is open year-round. Several other destinations sit close by. Glacier Lake Feeder is about half a mile away and Glacier Creek about a mile. Lindbergh Lake Campground is roughly 5 miles off, and the Swan River, a canoeing route, is about 6 miles away.
