Sanders Mtn. is a hard out-and-back hike in the Tally Lake Ranger District of Flathead National Forest in Montana. The trail runs about 20.9 miles and climbs roughly 2,087 feet from its low point of 4,877 feet to a high of 5,968 feet. The trail is open from June 1 through October 31, and the Forest Service manages the land. The route is natural-surfaced and allows horses and bikes, though it is not an accessible trail. The Flathead-Kootenai Divide TH172 parking area serves as the trailhead. Lemonade Spring and Grubb Mountain both lie about 1.9 miles away, and Sylvia Lake Campground is about 4.8 miles off for an overnight stay.
