Longfellow Clear Creek is a 9.1-mile loop hike in the Townsend Ranger District of Montana's Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest. The trail climbs from about 5,750 feet to about 7,970 feet, with a total elevation gain of 2,298 feet, and it is rated hard. The Forest Service manages the land. The loop is a natural-surface route that allows both bikes and horses. It is not accessible. The trail is open year-round, and the estimated time for the hike is about four hours. Falls Creek lies just 0.1 mile away, and the Eagle Interpretive Short Loop mountain biking route is about half a mile off. Eagle Guard Station offers camping within a mile, and the Medicine Hole Wall climbing area is about 6 miles away.
