Holland Lake Nature Trail is a short, easy loop in the Swan Lake Ranger District of Flathead National Forest in northwest Montana, about 0.7 miles long with a total climb of 63 feet. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail's natural surface makes it a simple walk or ride. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from the nearby Lindbergh Lake weather station show July and August highs around 78°F with lows near 50°F and only about seven wet days a month. Winter is cold and snowy, with January highs near 31°F and snow on 17 days. The trail sits right next to Holland Lake, with Holland Lake Group Site and Holland Lake Campground both within a quarter mile. Holland Lake Boating Site is about 0.2 miles away. For more time on foot, the E. Holland Lake Connect. trail is about 0.9 miles off.
