Giebler is a hard hike in the Rexford Ranger District of Montana's Kootenai National Forest, about 22 miles long with a one-way elevation gain of 3,154 feet. The trail is an out-and-back that starts and ends at the Giebler/Lost Soul Divide TH 70 parking area, and it rises from a low point of about 2,657 feet to a high of 6,169 feet. The route is on natural surface, and it is open from May 1 through November 30. Bikes and horses are both allowed. Several other trails sit close by. Hickey Creek is under a mile away, and East Branch Big Creek is about 1.2 miles off. Rocky Gorge Campground, roughly 5 miles away, offers a place to stay, and Barron Creek Boating Site, about 6.5 miles away, is a fishing spot.
