East Bridger North is a moderate hike of about 9.3 miles in the Bozeman Ranger District of Custer Gallatin National Forest in Montana, managed by the Forest Service. The route is out and back, rising from a low point of about 6,237 feet to a high of about 7,303 feet, with roughly 915 feet of elevation gain one way. The trail surface is natural, and it allows both horses and bikes, so it works well for riders and for those traveling with pack animals. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. At a nearby weather station, July and August typically average highs around 79°F and lows in the mid-40s. That station sits well below the trail, so temperatures up high run cooler. South Fork Brackett Creek is less than a mile away, and the Logger's Return cross-country ski trail and the Lower Replica climbing area are each under a mile off. Battle Ridge Cabin offers camping about 3 miles away.
