River Point Campground Complex sits on the west side of Seeley Lake in the Seeley Lake Ranger District of Lolo National Forest, about 2 miles from the town of Seeley Lake. The Forest Service manages the land, and the campground and picnic area sit where the Clearwater River meets the lake, with a stretch of beach that makes a good spot for playing in the water or people-watching while relaxing in the shade of the trees. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July and August highs around 83°F with lows in the low 40s and the fewest wet days of the year, while winter highs stay near freezing. Vault toilets are the only facility listed. A fee is charged for recreation here. The River Point Community mountain biking area is just 0.1 mile away, and the Boyscout Trail A and Gus trails are within half a mile. Seeley Lake Campground Complex is about 0.6 mile off.
