Big Larch Campground Complex sits on the east shoreline of Seeley Lake in the Seeley Lake Ranger District of Lolo National Forest in Montana. The Forest Service manages the land, and the campground is a base for a range of water-based and land-based activities. The site has a beach and a boat launch, so it works well for getting on the water. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Seeley Lake put July and August highs around 83°F with lows in the low 40s, and those months also see the fewest wet days of the year. June and September are milder, with highs in the low to mid 70s. Vault toilets are the only listed amenity. A nature trail and an interpretive area round out the on-site offerings, and the Big Larch Nature hike starts just 0.2 miles away. Mountain bikers can head to the Tamarack-Seeley section of the Clearwater Canoe Trail, about half a mile off. River Point Campground Complex and Seeley Lake Campground Complex are both within about a mile and a half.
