Grizzly Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Ranch Creek drainage, east of Rock Creek in the Missoula Ranger District of Lolo National Forest in western Montana. Several campsites sit along the creek, making it a convenient base for exploring the surrounding area. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically June through September. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show highs around 75°F in June and 74°F in September, with July and August reaching the mid-80s. Winters are cold, with January highs near 33°F and lows around 13°F. The campground has flush toilets, and a fee is charged for stays. Two hikes start right next door: Grizzly Creek is about 0.1 mile away and Ranch Creek is about 0.2 mile away. Norton Campground is about 1.1 mile off, and Rock Creek, a canoeing spot, is about 1.7 miles away.
